Sticky Suction Cling

My paws were still tingling from the water splashes, so I darted toward the sunny patio door and slammed right into a dangling rubber suction cup hook! Oho! It stuck fast to the glass, holding an empty plastic thermometer. I gripped the smooth clear stick with both hands and gave a tremendous yank! Pop! The rubber cup peeled off with a wet smack, sending me tumbling backward onto the carpet. Delighted by the noise, I lunged right back, pressed the soft rubber firmly against the pane, and cheered as it clung tight again!
