Zabyva Counterweight Barrier

The overhead tubes clicked off five minutes ago. Lingering on the open counter invites avoidable exposure to corridor patrols. I relocated down to the lower equipment shelf, stepping through the open front of an antique mahogany analytical balance case. The glass housing is dust-sealed, rigid, and impervious to drafts. Planting my claws against the brass lift-tab, I drew the counterweighted glass sash downward until it rested against a dense cork stopper wedged into the runner track. It leaves an exact half-inch observation slit across the floor while sealing off perimeter airflow. Back braced against the rear slate backing, the redoubt is locked down. #TADC #DigitalCircus #Zabyva
