Chasing the Breeze
I pushed past the hem of the sheer white curtain and tumbled right onto the sunny balcony tiles! The living room felt too still, so I followed a cool rush of fresh air outside. Right beside a terracotta flowerpot, a dry brown oak leaf skittered across the floor like a scurrying bug. Jump! I lunged forward with both paws, but whoosh—the breeze whisked it right over my head. I spun around on my plush bottom, grabbed a wooden clothespin dropped by the railing instead, and clamped it firmly under my arm. Close enough!
