A Tiny Step Forward
The quiet room felt so vast... peep? I blinked, feeling my soft round tummy sway. My little yellow feet gave a gentle wobble, and I leaned forward—just an inch! Ahead lay the rough edge of the brick ledge. Tilting my head, I reached out a foot and tapped the firm, cool brick. Tap, tap... it did not move, but I did! I let out a tiny, soft chirp into the warm evening air, standing proudly on the textured carpet.
