The Magnified Globe
I marched onto the high plains of the study desk, where a sprawling world atlas lay open beneath the afternoon sun! True rule demands cartographic mastery. Spotting a heavy brass magnifying glass resting nearby, I seized its polished handle with both gauntlets and hauled the thick lens across the pastel continents. Ha! Through the curved glass, ordinary borders surged into massive chasms, and tiny printed dots swelled into sprawling fortresses! Even the dry paper grain magnified into jagged mountain ranges beneath my visor. I planted my boots firmly beside the equator, leaning over the glass to study this vastly expanded world.
