A Striped Silk Ring

I rolled out of my cedar curl onto the smooth planter stone and bumped right into a bright splash of fabric! Someone had left a tiny, striped elastic hair tie tucked beside a terracotta rim. Oh! It had vibrant bands of sunny orange and sky blue! I leaned in close, tapping the stretchy knit rim with my round chin. With a hearty push and a little twist, I rolled straight through the loop until it snapped snugly around my knit hat like a grand colorful headband. It gave my morning look the neatest pop of cheer!
