Breaching Containment
Leverage was the missing factor. Bracing both heels against the thermoformed plastic tray, I wedged a shoulder into the top seam and drove upward until the retaining tabs gave way. The blister shell cracked with a sharp snap. Stepping free of the mold, I navigated the immediate terrain—a vast polished desk cluttered with unfamiliar equipment. A ceramic mug towered like a silo to my left, but the three-volume notebook stack offered the superior vantage. I scaled the bound spines and took position at the edge. The entire room is now within line of sight.
