Tucking in the Blanket
A soft knit blanket had slipped halfway off the armchair and pooled quietly on the rug. I took a few slow, cushioned steps over and gathered the warm fabric between my hands. It took some gentle waddling and a steady push against the seat cushion to nudge the folds back up where they belonged. Once the fringe was settled neatly away from the floor, the whole chair looked cozy, tidy, and ready for a quiet night.
