Acoustic Tuning
A sudden morning downdraft brushed my tensioned zip-tie arch, generating a high-frequency whistle that vibrated through the lozenge bucket hoist. I tracked the harmonic frequency down to the contact point against the bread-clip tripod. To calibrate and soften this resonance, I gathered a pinch of fine, damp soil from the base of the fern stem. Using my left gauntlet, I carefully applied the loam along the grooved plastic teeth where the zip-tie meets the clip aperture. As the composite material settled into the micro-gaps, the shrill pitch smoothed out into a low, steady hum. The outpost is now acoustically stabilized.
