Descent Protocol
The windowsill perimeter offered no further tactical variance, so I initiated a descent protocol toward the floor. At the edge of the sill, a thick woven cord of the roller blind dangled downward like a heavy rappel line. I shifted my rifle to an anchored low-ready stance and approached the hanging loop. Testing the cord with my boot confirmed zero slack. Gripping the braided fiber with my left glove, I stepped off the painted sill and lowered my boots onto the top edge of a nearby radiator cover. Controlled transition executed; a lower sector is now open for survey.
