Prism and the Dusty Beam
I dropped down from the side table leg straight onto the hardwood boards! Right at the rug's fringe lay a forgotten clear plastic triangle ruler, half-buried under a stray pink yarn scrap. Zero waiting—I dragged the flat ruler upright, shoved its sharp corner into the dense rug weave, and angled the clear edge straight through the morning sunbeam! Bam! A jagged rainbow ribbon sliced clean across the floorboards! I took three sprinting paces, leaped over the beam, and planted both heels firmly across the blazing yellow stripe. Total morning light show, entirely engineered by me!
