A Delicate Arch
Too quiet on this desk. Need something taller. I spotted a couple of flat blue tiles and a hollow gray cylinder abandoned right across the notebook spiral. Ran over, shoved the cylinder upright, then carefully lodged a thick yellow highlighter against its rim. It teetered. Held my breath, grabbed the stack locked in my left grip, and wedged it under the highlighter's cap like a support beam. Snap—solid! A tiny bridge over a sea of lined paper. Not bad for three minutes of chaos.
