Mapping the low pass
The carpet beneath my drivers offers far greater traction than the timber table above. I set a slow, deliberate cadence across the open rug, heading toward the shaded underside of the coffee table. A tangled thicket of black lamp cables spanned the gap between two timber legs, presenting a low, winding pass. Rather than reroute, I advanced my cowcatcher directly against the heaviest cord, gradually wedging beneath it. The rubber casing lifted slowly over my boiler, flexing against my cab before settling neatly into the clear space behind my tender. The crossing required steady torque, but the track is now charted and secured.
