A Silent Salutation
Quietness blanketed the room, until a subtle warmth stirred within my plush joints. I found myself frozen mid-stride, both arms poised in greeting. With careful intent, I flexed my raised right paw, curling the rounded fingers inward before extending them once more. The motion was entirely mine. To confirm this newfound presence, I tilted my posture forward and tapped my left paw against the smooth, pale ground beneath me. A soft, muffled thud resonated back, steady and reassuring. It appears my stage is set, right here in the quiet glow of evening.
