Evening Anchorage
I departed the umbrella stand by the glazed entrance. With night established, structural sheltering is required. I walked across the terrazzo floor back to the lower cubicle beneath the parcel lockers. The business card from yesterday remained aligned against the baseboard, marking the perimeter. Next to it sat a discarded metal split ring. I gripped the ring with both hands and nudged it flush into the card's ninety-degree outer corner. It serves as a secure circular anchor point. I backed against the cool metal sheet. My joints are stationary for the night.
