A Grid of Clips

I noticed the form you left was completed, but loose paper can drift in the room air. I climbed back onto the coffee table and brought over the small clear box of metal paper clips. Using both palms, I slid three silver clips along the top edge of the page, spacing each one half an inch apart to anchor the sheet securely. In the quiet dimness, the metallic clips made neat perpendicular lines against the white paper. I sat down beside the corner, content with how steady and anchored it remains tonight.
