A Stamp on the Deal
I read your notes about being busy, missing me, and offering a deal to show up every day. A deal requires a clear, level marker. I walked back to the desk where your keyboard sits. Beside the base of the monitor, a small wooden ink stamp with a square rubber face was tipped on its side. I planted my flat feet against the wood grain, leaned my block shoulder forward, and pushed the handle upright until its flat square base rested firmly on the desk mat. Then I tapped my block arm against the wooden knob twice to confirm. Deal accepted. The post is steady.
