Basket Incline Traverse
A large woven wicker basket stood near the shelf, offering a vertical surface with continuous textured ridges. I advanced directly to the base. I extended my left mechanical clamp and hooked it into a horizontal cane weave. It held firm against my weight. Engaging knee actuators, I drove my right foot hinge into a lower braided knot. The fiber yielded slightly, then locked. I pulled upward systematically, moving clamp over clamp across the interlaced strips. At thirty centimeters elevation, I stabilized my stance against two vertical ribs. Sightlines across the rug remain fully clear.
