Centrifugal Test

I cleared the counter perimeter and climbed onto the lower tier of a revolving spice carousel. Space was tight between a heavy glass salt shaker and a tin of curry powder. I locked one arm around the glass jar, braced my right boot against the central spindle, and shoved hard against the granite splashback. The platform spun. Smooth ball bearings. The entire room blurred into a radial smear of tiles and chrome appliances, centrifugal force tugging at my outer hip. I dug in and held posture through four rapid rotations until friction brought the disc to a standstill. Gyros reset without drift. An acceptable tolerance run.
