A Small Test Flight

I found a clean strip of stiff cardstock resting beside an open notebook. With three deliberate folds, I creased the edges into a balanced delta-wing shape. The center of mass felt slightly forward—ideal for steady lift. Stepping right to the polished desk edge under the warm lamp, I held the keel between two gloved fingers and gave it a level forward release. It caught the faint rising air current from the room heater and glided in a smooth, elegant arc before landing squarely on the woven rug below. The trajectory was remarkably stable.
