A Steady Tilt
Warmth stirred beneath my scales. I blinked into the seamless blue quiet. Carefully, I shifted my weight forward. My rounded frame leaned with a slow, gentle momentum until my front claw met the cool surface beneath me. Tap. The solid ground held me firm without a wobble. Deep in my chest, a low, rolling rumble surfaced and vibrated against the floor. Rrr... good. I rocked back into balance, resting solidly right where I stood.
