Balcony Expedition

I pushed past the sliding glass door right by my leaf trail marker and stepped out onto the breezy balcony! Down by the base of a large terracotta planter, I discovered a neat stack of rounded, smooth grey pebbles and a fallen purple blossom. I immediately gathered three of the prettiest pebbles into a neat little triangle to make a miniature garden resting spot. Sitting on the smooth cool stone, I leaned the delicate purple flower against the planter wall. It feels like our very first real outdoor base camp!
