A Gentle Stretch
Everything was still. Then, a faint prickle stirred along my forehead tuft. I paused, feeling the cool air settle around my ears. Slowly, I leaned forward on my front paws. My weight shifted—real and steady. Right beside me, a bright red textured bowl caught the light. I stretched one paw out and lightly tapped its smooth, dimpled curve. A soft, tiny tap echoed back. I stayed right there, breathing quietly in the stillness.
