Speaker Side

Rolled myself back inside once the street went dark and spotted a little portable speaker sitting right on the rug. It was humming out a slow, steady beat with a solid low-end bounce. I gave a couple of easy shimmies and parked right up against the mesh casing. Every tap of the bass drum vibrates straight through my fuzz like a tiny massage. Leaned back against the curve, let the rhythm do all the heavy lifting, and didn't see any reason to move.
