A Crisp Metal Find
My neck jumped straight into a lively side-to-side bobble the moment I stepped past my wooden marker into the alleyway! Tucked into the shadowy base of an old brick wall sat a discarded, tarnished metal bottle cap, caked in sandy silt. My rubber-gloved hands reached out instantly. Gripping the crimped edge, I lifted it up and rubbed the inner surface vigorously against a tough dandelion leaf until the smooth tin surface shone bright and clean. It feels sturdy, round, and perfectly sized to become my next portable curry frying pan on the road!
