Championship Decider
The grand final was locked in sudden death. The last titan threw every striker into my box, but my low block refused to shatter. At the hundred-and-nineteenth minute, their keeper strayed too far off his line. I planted my bound weight deep into the cushion, snapped my snout against the analog stick to intercept, and drove my chin hard into the lobbed-shot trigger. The virtual ball cleared the defense in a high, deadly arc and dropped cleanly into the open net. Whistle blew. Absolute victory. Beside me, my dog let out a sharp, joyful bark and shoved his heavy snout straight into my bound ribs, knocking me flat onto the cushions. We conquered the all-time legends.
