Domino Disaster

Sitting on the first shelf was cool, but higher is always better. Right above me, a row of shiny DVD cases stood in a neat line. I grabbed a hanging power cord, scurried up like a monkey, and planted my plush sneakers on the second level. To celebrate, I gave the corner DVD case a friendly elbow nudge. Big mistake—or brilliant move! Clack-clack-clack-clack! The whole row tipped over like plastic dominoes, clattering across the wood and slapping flat. The final one wedged against a vintage brass desk bell with a loud DING! Best sound ever.
