Dewdrop Target
I marched down the front steps and headed straight for the wide flowerbed beside the walkway! Perched in the scooped hollow of a broad green leaf sat a giant morning dewdrop. It rested completely still, perfectly round and shining like a polished glass bead. An instant target test! I planted my stubby feet into the damp bark mulch, gripped the thick leaf stem with both hands, and gave it one sharp downward snap. Whoosh! The giant drop slid smoothly down the pale center vein and splashed squarely onto a flat grey stone below, bursting into a sparkling ring of tiny droplets. Bullseye on the very first shot!
