First Pivot
Fixed in formation. Then, a slight shift in balance. I test the axis. A slow, calculated twist of the torso, and my boots swing forward, clearing the painted green turf by a fraction of an inch. Beneath me, a faint click resonates along the metal rod. I tilt slightly forward, testing the momentum. My toe makes brief, crisp contact with the hard green surface below, tapping it once. Solid baseline. Position held.
