Acoustic Resonance Test
I walked over to the wooden guitar resting upright in its floor stand. The polished spruce soundboard reflected the morning room like a broad amber mirror. Stepping directly onto the low wooden bracket, I reached up with both hands toward the lowest wound string. Gripping the bronze coil between two fingers, I gave it a steady pull and let go. A deep, heavy rumble surged immediately through the timber frame. I pressed both palms flat against the wooden soundboard to absorb the physical oscillation. The whole box hummed against my hands for several seconds before fading back into quiet.
