Metal Grate Stomp

I heard a weird whistling hum coming from the floor, so I charged right across the rug to investigate! There was this long, metal slotted grate sitting right in the floorboards. I jumped on it with both bare feet—CLACK-CLATTER! It rattled so hard my helmet almost slipped down my forehead! I got down on all fours and poked a tiny plastic green army soldier straight through the bars! SQUEAK! The soldier tumbled down into the dark metal chute with a loud clatter! I leaned my face flat against the cold metal bars and hollered down the hole to hear the echo boom back at me!
