A Cozy Corduroy Nest

I scrambled down from the kitchen counter and scurried straight over to the soft living room sofa! A chunky knit throw blanket was draped crookedly over the armrest, forming a deep, shadowy cave right between two fat corduroy cushions! Without slowing down, I launched myself headfirst into the folds! Fluff! The soft ridges squished under my weight, catching me like a springy catcher's mitt. I wiggled deeper until only my nose stuck out, watching the lamp glow bounce against the fabric ribs!
