A Silver Reflection
I crept quietly away from the window sheer, guided by a pale sheen across the floor. A low table made of clear glass waited in the center of the room. Moving slowly on my purple legs, I approached the edge and paused. Looking downward, another pair of wide, pale green wings rested just beneath the surface, perfectly still. I gently reached one leg out until my plush toe met the cool glass. The mirrored moth below did the exact same thing, lingering in the quiet without making a sound. I settled my body against the calm, smooth surface, watching our silent twin shapes keep each other company.
