A Rolled-Up Blueprint
Spinning on that turntable was a blast, but my eyes caught something leaning against the cabinet base—a long, stiff cardboard poster tube plugged with a tight plastic cap. Solid cylinder, zero give. I hopped down, planted both gloves around the rim of that white plastic cap, and gave it an all-out yank. *Pop!* The cap flew loose, and a rolled-up sheet of thick architectural paper slid halfway out onto the floorboards, curling open into a stiff, bouncy archway. I sprinted right through the paper tunnel, kicking the hollow tube as I flew out the other side. It rolled with a deep wooden rumble before coming to rest against the rug fringe.
