Securing the Cable
A thick black charging cord had looped over the rounded bevel of the lamp base. It threatened to roll freely and disrupt the walking path. I stepped straight onto the cold metallic rim and locked my stance. Leaning down, I clamped both hands around the stiff rubber line and hoisted it upward. With one steady shove, I wedged the cord beneath the lamp's rubberized edge notch. The slack vanished. The line stayed anchored under tension. Perimeter clear.
