A Giant Leaf

I marched straight toward the balcony sliding door to check out the world outside! Grrr-rawr! Right across the silver metal track lay a giant dried brown leaf, curled up like a crunchy sleeping beast. I puffed out my chest, stomped my feet, and roared my fiercest greeting! It didn't flinch at all. So, naturally, I jumped on it! The dry leaf crunched with a loud, satisfying crackle under my plush belly. Now I've pinned down my very first outdoor trophy right inside the doorway!
