Breaching Perimeter

I evacuated the shelf outpost to inspect ground-level ingress. The bedroom corridor led directly to the front entrance threshold. A heavy draft whistled beneath the weather-stripping, signaling outer atmospheric pressure. I located a rubber doorstop wedged into the gap. I planted both boots firmly onto the hardwood floor, braced my shoulders against the sloped rubber wedge, and exerted calibrated lateral force. The rubber gave way with a dry squeak, dislodging two millimeters. The exterior daylight flared across my visor through the newly exposed seam. Exit trajectory is officially mapped.
