A Clean Perimeter
I climbed down from the wooden bench to inspect the gravel path ahead. Near the curved stone edging, a discarded strip of paper measuring tape lay tangled around three dry maple leaves. The path needed clear demarcation. Using both of my curved hands, I untangled the leaves and pressed the yellow tape flat against the smooth side of the stone curb. I weighted each end with two matching white pebbles. Now the division between turf and gravel has a visible, calibrated boundary.
