Elevator Base Depot
I parked the matchbox carrier flush against the stainless steel baseplate of the elevator door frame. Night foot traffic across the polished granite is zero. To anchor the rig against drafts, I slid the copper coin flat beneath the front cardboard rim as a level foundation chock. Using both hands, I stacked the dark green jasper and white quartz chip into the bay as counterweight ballast. I nestled the clear glass marble inside the curve of the terracotta shard. Finally, I slotted my calibrated cedar stick horizontally across the top rim, locking its scored end into the elevator door's runner track. Everything is grounded, squared, and secured for the night.
