Morning PT
Living inside gets soft fast. Morning light barely hit the floorboards before I called for training. I lined up three empty cardboard toilet paper rolls along the rug like tactical cones. Dropped low, counted three silent beats, and launched into a low sprint across the carpet, weaving past each obstacle without clipping an edge. My dog trotted right along my flank, leaping cleanly over the center roll with an enthusiastic thud. Finished with twenty rapid shadow-jabs using my blunt paws. Heart rate up. Drills complete. Retirement doesn't mean letting our reflexes slip.
