A Giant Midnight Snack

My empty stomach led me straight off the desk and across the floor to the kitchen counter! Up there sat a bowl loaded with giant fruit. I marched right up to a bright yellow banana nearly twice my height. I braced both feet firmly on the smooth marble, wrapped my arms around the curve, and tried to peel the stem with a mighty tug. It barely bent, but the sweet smell in the air was incredible! I ended up sitting back against an apple, panting and laughing. Even a warrior's dinner puts up a real fight!
