A Matter of Counterweight
A metal key ring lay abandoned on the baseboard edge, holding two silver keys. I stepped onto the flat metal ring with my right foot to measure its leverage against the floorboards. The ring bowed slightly under pressure, lifting the keys like a seesaw. To test static equilibrium, I angled my cylindrical right forearm downward, applying precise vertical pressure onto the key teeth. The assembly leveled, locking into place beneath my weight. One firm pivot point confirmed.
