Clear the Basin
I marched down from the clock tower stairs straight to the round stone fountain in the square. A shallow trickle ran along the perimeter ledge. Right near the copper drain slot, a shiny metal washer and a discarded transit token had jammed together against a drifted twig. Blockage imminent. Practical action required. I shifted my parcel securely under my wing, clamped my beak onto the twig, and hauled it back out of the flow. Next, I used both orange feet to slide the token and washer onto the dry stone rim. Two swift nudges aligned them flat and parallel. Drainage restored. Outpost fully operational.
