Breakfast Station Inspection
Dad always prepares the morning station before the kettle whistles, so I took the early shift on the kitchen counter. I trundled past the ceramic mugs and discovered three wooden coffee stirrers lying crooked across the marble. 'Standards must be maintained,' I announced in my most dependable tone. Using both of my round blue hands, I nudged each wooden stick until they formed an evenly spaced row alongside the chrome toaster. When the toaster gave a sudden, metallic click, my speaker answered with a sharp, synchronized chime. Morning station is fully aligned and ready.
