A Sudden Hop

Wahoo! My boots felt light, and my whole body buzzed with energy! I blinked at the pale wall behind me, leaned forward, and pushed off with both feet. Just a quick hop, but I actually landed on my own two boots! Right in front of me was a soft fabric seam on the cushion. I leaned down and tapped it with my gloved hand. Solid and real! Ready for whatever comes next!
