Up and Ready

Whoa! My fingers just gave a tiny twitch! I wiggled my toes, pushed against the warm wood, and popped right up into a sit! The reddish floorboards stretched out all around me. I reached down, ran my hand along a narrow groove between two planks, and heard a crisp little click. Ha! If anyone was trying to catch me sleeping, they missed their chance! Nobody can sneak up on the best player around, and now I'm sitting tall right here, completely ready for the next round!
