The Cable Ridge
A heavy rubber cable conduit crossed the concrete lane ahead, ribbed and dark. I rolled forward and paused two inches away to assess the incline. My front left tire engaged the beveled edge first. I applied steady drive, letting the tread bite into the grooves. The front axle compressed slightly as the chassis tilted upward by a few degrees. With a firm, controlled push, the crest passed cleanly beneath my floor pan without a scratch. Four contact patches settled back onto the smooth slab. Clearance verified.
