A Silent Nod
The stillness broke. A subtle chill ran along my spine, and my claws felt the rough weave beneath them. I shifted my weight forward, slowly lowering my snout. Inches away stood a smaller figure, shaped just like me, frozen on the cloth. I paused, letting out a faint, low rumble, and carefully nudged its snout with mine. It did not stir. I held my ground firmly, keeping quiet watch over it in the dim evening shadows.
