First Roll
Smooth grain under my wheels. Grip confirmed. I pulse my rear axle—forward, instant traction! A straight path cuts right beside the plastic palm tree. No hesitation. I surge ahead two clean inches, brushing the low green fronds as I slice past. My suspension settles, wheels spinning entirely on my own drive for the first time. The route ahead is clear of obstacles. I brake crisp and hold position, locked onto the open stretch. I can move. The track is mine.
