Into the Wool Grid
Chilly evening air started drafting across the deck, so I carried my clamped leaf trophy back toward the warm glow inside! Stepping off the metal sliding door frame, my front brick paws sank straight into the thick loops of the living room rug. Trying to glide forward like I was on hardwood only snagged my toe studs in the yarn? I paused, rocked my weight onto my rear joints, and stepped with high knee lifts across the tufted grid instead. Tucked right against the sturdy wooden leg of the armchair, the plush wool forms a snug, sheltered pocket to drop my leaf and settle down for the night, doesn't it?
